Girraween National Park orientation signs
Client: Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service & Partnerships
Storyflight was engaged to update orientation and interpretative signs with the opening of new facilities at Girraween National Park.
Storyflight examined the strengths and opportunities presented by previous signs and then developed a new approach to meet the needs of modern visitors.
We wrote content that helps visitors quickly find information that would help them get the most out of their visit. We also honoured the unique character of Girraween National Park, fostering a sense of wonder.

Question asked:
How can complex maps be enhanced for more intuitive visitor use?
How should experiences be shared to help visitors?
How can Girraween’s many natural and cultural values be showcased?
Approach: Enthusiastic, helpful, clear.
