Communication messaging
You’re an expert on your organisation and the service or product you offer. But sometimes it can be hard to articulate what’s most important, particularly if you’re sharing ideas that are technical or complex.
Storyflight helps organisations create a strong foundation for clear, effective communication.
We embed key messages during the concept stage of our projects—auditing previous communications, examining audience needs, clarifying intentions and prioritising information.
With clear, relevant messages we create a strong foundation for our work.
A strategic approach to powerful communication.
+ Communication messaging frameworks
We distil existing corporate knowledge into succinct messaging frameworks, ready to be repurposed time and time again. A messaging framework creates a hierarchy of key messages and supporting messages, showing how messages should be prioritised and sequenced to maximise understanding and impact.
+ Communication concepts
Our communication concepts document the strategic approach to a communication product, including recommendations and messages. We draw on principles from behavioural psychology, communication theory and conversion copywriting to tailor a nuanced communication solution.
Experience in crafting messages that matter.
Storyflight helps organisations working in conservation, sustainability, community services and social enterprise get clear on what matters most—to their organisation and their audience.
We ask questions that help organisations get clear on what they’re really trying to say. Then, we document communication messages to create a point of truth for all communication products.
Our work
Sustainability messaging framework
Plastic pipes and fittings are long-lasting products that can sustainably protect essential services and utilities. Plastics Industry Pipe Association (PIPA) is the peak body for the plastic pipe industry, advocating for the sustainable use of plastic pipes and fittings.
Storyflight was engaged to prepare a messaging framework to help communicate the role and value of plastic pipes and fittings in a circular economy.
We prepared a suite of key messages and supporting messages after examining:
the science behind the characteristics and safe use of plastic pipes
audience knowledge and misconceptions about plastic products and a circular economy
audience motivations and concerns that drive behaviours and choices.
The messaging framework is now used by PIPA to improve a range of communication products, including presentations, website content, video content and discussion papers.
